2019 Summer Strings Camp is open to all rising 5th grade through 12th grade strings students. You do not need to attend school in Henderson County to participate. Camper experience ranges from absolute beginners to advanced players of 7+ years. No audition is necessary!

Tuition: Registration costs $100 and includes the t-shirt worn for the Thursday concert. Full refunds minus a $15 administration fee will be honored through Friday, July 19. A written request for a refund should be made to the camp director.
Camp tuition can be paid through the online registration form. Prefer to pay in person? Cash or check made out to "Henderson County Education Foundation" may be turned in to any HCPS Strings teacher or mailed to: West Henderson HS c/o Tiffany King 3600 Haywood Rd. Hendersonville, NC 28791 Please write "Berrian Fund" on the memo line.
Lunch and Materials: Students will need to pack a lunch and/or snack as well as their instrument, pencil, and refillable water bottle.
Beginners Camp: The Pisgah Orchestra serves students who have no experience on their instrument. Students must supply their own instrument and may begin on violin, viola, cello, or double bass. Students will present their efforts in the culminating Thursday concert!
Daily Schedule and Final Concert: Campers will participate in daily orchestra rehearsals, receive sectional coaching, compete in rhythm jeopardy, and listen to guest artist performances. Camp is four days, 9:00am-3:00pm and wraps up in a Thursday Concert at 2:00pm. The concert is free and open to the public.
